"May the 9th"

It is V-Day (Victory Day) coming soon and this year this event is significant for many people because of 70th anniversary since the capitulation of Nazi Germany from the Soviet Union in Great Patriotic War. To celebrate this occasion social movement  "Суть Времени"  created a website where you can find last letters of fighters against fascism. There was one letter which infinitely touched me, so I've decided to translate it for you.
Part of the letter from Major Petrakov to his daughter:
"My black-eyed Mila!
I'm sending a cornflower to you...Just imagine: there was a battle, enemy's shells were bursting, craters all-around and there was growing the flower too...sudden explosion pulled the cornflower... I picked up it and put it in my soldier's blouse's pocket. The flower had been growing there until a blast have pulled it and if I did not picked up it, it would be trampled down. Fascists do the same with the children from occupied territories, where they kill and trample down kids... Mila, your father Dima will fight against fascists to the bitter end in order to prevent them doing with you the same they had done with this flower..."
After reading this letter I suddenly understood what the Soviet Union soldiers had been fighting for... they had been fighting for us, for our independence, for our freedom, for peaceful future - for life.

Xoxo, sweet seventeen!

This is amazing event, which I must to write about. 21'st april I had 17'th birthday! Xoxo, sweet seventeen ;)
So many plans and so many things do this year. Frankly speaking, there were two my best friends: N and K, and my Mom and Dad. My cake was baked in shape of four-leaf clover and was decorated with golden prase "Good luck!". Yeah, it was very delicious cake (m-m-m)!
However, I'm not going to write too much right now, just enjoy the photos!

"Cherry on the cake: weekends"

Now I'm ready to sum up the results of my holidays! As you know in my first post I wrote about 5 days of it, so today I'm writting about its 'cherry on the cake' - weekends. However lets begin with Friday.
Day #5 (Friday): The day when my friend contrary to my expectations suddenly changed our plan to meet. The worst was that she didn't inform me about it, so I felt myself down, when I imagined that the best day of this week would be boring and melancholy. However, I've decided not to give up and went on shopping. In fact, I bought 5 roses and new Anna's Gavalda book "Yann" (it's really amazing and inspirating story:));

Day #6 (Saturday): The begining was too lazy, I felt myself a coach potato and didn't want to do anything. I was watching TV, when suddenly I got a message from my dancing-master, who offered me to go with her to yoga in a new sports center on the next day. Frankly speaking, I had many pro and con but finally I decided to go "Why not?" In the evening I was able to do anything, so I decided to clean up the house;

Day #7 (Sunday): I was little nervous (ha-ha, okey, I was keyed up with it). (First of all, I hate great halls, I usually feel myself uneasy there. Secondly, it's hard to do exercise among strangers.) In final, it was amazing yoga class in a cosy little room. Also the most "strangers" were my friends and the others were really friendly, so I felt myself in comfort there.
XoXo, I also ate a delicious home-made pizza (m-m-m);

Namaste👌

Sincerely yours, Ksenia

"My first post or attempt to write it right!"

Hello somebody, who's reading it now. Frankly speaking, I've decided to create this blog to improve my English. I think there is no point in telling you the whole story of my life, so I'll introduce myself in a few words. My name is Ksenia, I'm a russian 16teen (in near future 17teen) girl, who will have to pass the exams (it's called "Е.Г.Э." in Russia ) in May-June. As other students I'm little nervous about them.
However today I will write about my last (scool) spring holidays, which are coming to an end from day to day.
Day #1 (Monday): It was really amazing scool party during which we had let ourselves go! (Just imagine, we were dancing non-stop about 4 hours!);
Day #2 (Tuesday): That was the day, when I felt myself worn-out, so I was unable to do anything that day. (Still, evening was quite good owing to savoury pizza,which appetizing picture on the package I couldn't resist when I had been buying it.);
Day #3 (Wednesday):It was April the 15'th, so there were excellent 15% discount in cosmetics store "Подружка" and I decided to buy new mascara (Loreal 'miss manga') and concealer-palette (Catrice 'allround'), also I bought a notebook in "Жёлтый куб" (amazing gift shop);
Day #4 (Thursday): Today I had extraclasses (English language) in the evening, also I had time in the morning to design my new notebook. Xo-xo, almost forgot, I also cooked delicious Nutella-cake (M-m-m ;))
Day #5 (Friday): There are many plans for tomorrow. Firstly, dancing lessons at 12:00p.m., secondly meeting with a friend of mine Nastia (eatting pizza,making photoes and having fun!)

Sincerely hope I wrote this post right,
Yours Ksenia ;*
